In the EDIBLE / TYPE Food Design workshop we explore the connection between visual communication and food with special emphasis on typography. We will use food ingredients to do typographic explorations. By combining lyrical qualities and taste of the ingredients with typographic forms and characteristics we will find new ways to experience typography.
With the guidance of a chef and designers, participants create their own edible typographic explorations by experimenting with ingredients, flavours, shapers, colours, textures etc. Previous design experience with typography is not required but some knowledge on typography will be helpful.
Open to 30 participants. Enrollment required but participation is free of charge. Enrollment via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/edibletype-food-design-work-shop-tickets-27439573503
